I'll attach screenshots shortly
Hello! Sounds like it might be a bug or an unusual edge case. Will take a look at your screenshots when you provide them.
These are the upcoming invoices when creating a subscription with no trial during the cycle, regardless of whether I include a back date or not.
And these are the upcoming invoices when creating the subscription with a trial period during the cycle, with a text change based on whether I provide the back date.
To clarify, the first two screenshots are both with no trial, with the first using backdate_start_date and the second one not using it? And the last two screenshots are both with a trial, with the third using backdate_start_date and the fourth not using it?
Yes, that's correct
Gotcha. Do these invoices actually have this discrepancy when they're eventually created? In other words, wondering if this is an issue with the upcoming Invoice API specifically or if the actual Invoices show the issue or not.
Oh - that I don't know. This particular test customer doesn't have a test clock enabled.
Hi, stepping in and catching up.
Hmm - let me see if I can set things up to generate the actual invoice for the test data. If I post a message about this next week, would I be able to refer to this thread, even if it's closed?
You can refer to it, but we won't be able to reopen the thread and we still ask that you summary your questions for us in a new thread.
