Hey happy to help but things are a bit too busy for me to read that whole thread. Can you tell me what error you are seeing on those webhooks?
Okay let me 2sec to retrieve an event for example with the error
evt_1NlWbQKybFNJTpVVd7hjSTUU
On this one, and a lots more, i've got this error : Failed to connect to remote host
Gotcha, and what was tried in the previous thread? That looks like a network connection issue from your server. Have you already made sure that our Webhook IPs are whitelisted? https://stripe.com/docs/ips#webhook-notifications
Yes everything's alright by my side
I already checked that with my mates and with the person on the previous thread
Gotcha, have you checked your network logs to see if you are getting traffic from our IPs?
Not i don't get anything from weebhook there
Have you talked to your hosting provider about this?
Only the few webhooks that passed are in logs and are okay, but for those which are in errors state, there aren't in logs file
That error means that we aren't hearing anything back from your server for those messages so unfortunately that means that we don't really have an indication of why the connection is failing. Have you talked to your hosting provider to see if anything is potentially getting blocked at their level?
I called them yesterday, but they told that they aren't available to block any Ip, so they redirected me to you to know what you were sending in the headers requests and what was the response
I know that you won't give me headers details, so what i can tell them to help ?
On the previous thread, you mate did something, but i don't what because i didn't told me anything about this, and it gave me the ability to resend webhooks that failed and it worked at the moment. But for now, it seems like it doesn't hold a long time aha
Hi 👋
I'm jumping in as @unique scaffold needs to go
Hello !!
You can use the Stripe CLI to resend specific webhook events. https://stripe.com/docs/cli/events/resend
Yes but there's almost 280, i'd like it to be automatic if you dare aha 🥲
And as i saw, even if i do it manually, it doesn't work to
too
But in public, everything's work well, that's why i don't understand aha
But in public
What does that mean?
If i access the url directly, in a browser
Okay but that is a GET request. Could your ISP be blocking POST requests?
What does ISP mean ? ^^
Internet Service Provider
Okay i see, and not, nothing is blocked :/
Well unfortunately our webhook events are being sent out by our network successfully but they are not able to connect to your back-end
My colleague reviewed your previous thread and we suggested allow-listing specific webhook IP addresses. Did you do this?
No but i'll see with my host provider again, and i'll come back to you if they can't do anything and if i get more infos
Please try that approach
Yes i'll do that, thank you for your time
