This channel is for direct technical questions with Stripe products and I'm afraid I don't have necessary expertise with Atlas. For Atlas related questions, our support team will be able to assist you better than I can: https://support.stripe.com/contact

Thanks @tough wadi .. in standard connect does the merchant receiving money from our platform have to have a standalone stripe account or can they create a connected account on the fly using the onboarding form etc?

So the requirement is that we have a wallet on the platform and we want to enable users to withdraw money from the wallet to their bank accounts and not all users may have a stripe account

Razorpay for instance auto creates a fund account connected to the main business account without making the merchant having to have his individual razorpay account.. Is that the case in stripe standard connect too ?

To perform payout from Stripe, a connected account has to be created.

With Standard connected account, the account holder has full access to Stripe Dashboard to accept payment and receive payout.

Connect is used for business models like marketplaces and software platforms route payments between businesses, customers, and recipients who need to get paid

In this scenario is the standard account a pre existing standalone account or can the connected account lets say be created using an onboarding experience

so lets say xyz.com is the portal where I have an account as a user and a wallet associated with it.
xyz.com has a business stripe account existing but I as a user dont . so when I enter the desired amount I wish to withdraw using the platform UI would I be able to create a connected account if the xyz platform had an onboarding UI? A follow up to that does standard connect offer an onboarding UI?

And if lets say I created a connected account as a user. The next time I withdraw is there an Id associated with that account that I could use?
