I haven’t started using it but I was using the ‘express element’ instead but apparently when I tried just to show 1 button at express element the button wouldn’t show if my div width is not wide enough

Yeah, the Express Checkout Element is explicitly designed to show multiple buttons

So there is no way at express element that when I just show one button it can be at a width that I define?

Correct. In that case the Payment Request Button https://stripe.com/docs/stripe-js/elements/payment-request-button would probably be a better fit
