Hello 👋
are you asking about microdeposit verification flow?
yes
i'm the customer trying to pay, but stripe is asking for 4 digits to verify, but i only got 3. maybe i should try adding a leading zero?
The micro-deposit verification sends two amounts
https://support.stripe.com/questions/verify-a-new-ach-direct-debit-customer-using-micro-deposits
Those are the amounts that you need to provide for verification

yes... i see both
Those are the 4 digits the flow expects
right... but the code i got is in this form: ACH HOLD SMXXX-<companycode> ACCTVERIFY ON 08/21
so in the stripe verification form, should i enter XXX<space>?
or maybe <space>XXX?
No, you should enter the amounts
can you share a screenshot of the UI you're looking at?
is it safe to give you a small screenshot snippet of the actual code on my bank UI?
No the above screenshot is enough.
It is asking for descriptor code. You need to provide the whole SMXXX string that you see on your statement
For example, it should look something like SM11AA
That's quite weird, I've never seen the descriptor code length shorten
It should always be 6 digits afaik
I'd recommend talking to our support team to see if they know why this is happening

They can help look into this further
