Yes, I'm on that page already. But I do not see where I can upload that particular file.

Upon researching online, most people talk about generating a CSR file -> uploading it to Apple -> downloading a .cer file that is generated from Apple -> convert that .cer file to .p12 and uploading it to our gateway. In this case it is Stripe.

What do you see if you click on Add new application as the docs recommend and follow the steps that the UI walks you through?

flint kettle
#

Yes, it says it will generate a CSR file to send to apple

#

But I am bit confused now. Do I send the CSR file from Stripe or send the CSR file I generated on my Mac, because on the Apple documentation it says to generate a CSR on your mac

The one from Stripe.

I've read through the 'add new application' section and that is for creating a payment processing certificate which is complete.

What I need to do is create an apple pay merchant identity certificate.

๐Ÿ‘‹ stepping in here

#

Okay so you already set up your CSR?

#

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "apple pay merchant identity certificate"?

flint kettle
#

under 'Apple Pay Merchant Identity Certificate'

plucky pewter
#

That isn't required for Apple Pay on iOS

flint kettle
#

This is for Web

plucky pewter
#

Oh for Web we handle all of that for you. All you do is register your domain

We are integrating Apple Pay for Web, rather than using your express checkout buttons. We are integrating directly to Apple, receive the payload and send that payload to Stripe in a request message

plucky pewter
#

Ah okay in that case you need to work with Apple directly.

#

We don't deal with Apple pay Merchant ID Certificates so we don't know anything about them really

#

So unfortunately can't really help you

#

I'd reach out to Apple in this case

Okay no problem. Thank you
