I have the same issue
Strangely it's working on an identical setup on a different Stripe account, using the same internet connection. I can't figure out why this new account is not showing local currencies.
Hi, can you try this Multi-currency prices guide: https://stripe.com/docs/products-prices/pricing-models#multicurrency
@timber ferry Yeah, I already have multiple prices set for this product. $29USD, $44AUD etc.
Checkout is meant to show the correct price based on the visitors location, and it's still showing me USD despite being in Australia.
Ok this is even stranger. Some products it works, and some it doesn't.
Hmm can you share the Price Id? price_xxx
This one is now working on my side: price_1NffeUBL4OZplYB6XpMUpeK1
While this one is still showing USD: price_1NffeQBL4OZplYB682LzbYjV
Ok guys, I figured it out. I think there's a bug with the "Include tax in price" option under Edit Price.
By default this is "set automatically", which seems to break the local currency showing on the checkouts.
By changing to "set manually" (which should not affect whether localized currencies are shown) and then refreshing the checkout session, the currencies are now localized
This option breaks it:
And, a separate bug as far as I can tell, after updating that settings I can no longer change it back due to this:
However this is a brand new Stripe account with zero transactions made.
