Can you share an example po_xxx?
po_1NfBnBPYLc2sXmruIdtLQSZP
Hey, taking over here. Let me know if there's any follow-up Qs I can answer!
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
I can see the Payout statement descriptor populated
Another example @nocturne glacier
acct_1Nf05TPYLc2sXmru created with req_1vVyWFA6lbF9rM has the settings[payouts][statement_descriptor] set.
po_1NfBnBPYLc2sXmruIdtLQSZP has statement_descriptor set to null
Thanks
yeah, that's just how it works; the statement_descriptor field does not show the actual descriptor used, it shows the value that you set, if you set one(with e.g. https://stripe.com/docs/api/payouts/create#create_payout-statement_descriptor). It works the same way on charge.statement_descriptor for payments, where null implies your default account descriptor was used ; same for payouts, if it's null it means the default is being used.
thanks for you answer. the payout is created by Stripe so I cannot set.
Just a feedback, it would be good to have a copy in the payout entity just in case someone chnage the connect account statement descriptior.
Thank you for your time
