Hello! Can you give me the ID of the Subscription that renewed so I can take a look?
Also wondering what specifically you archived. Did you archive a Price? A Payment Link? Something else?
It's likely the Subscriptions will automatically renew regardless of what you've archived. That's the default behavior. But once you provide a Subscirption ID I can take a look and give you specific details.
Sorry, it took me a moment to find it. Here is the link of what was archived today : price_1LW0zeFZjzacSJuBpzWe0iMa
Ah, okay, so you archived a Price. That won't impact any existing Subscriptions using that Price.
Those Subscriptions will continue as normal unless you explicitly update or cancel them.
See here for more details: https://stripe.com/docs/products-prices/manage-prices#archive-price
If you archive a price, any existing subscriptions that use the price remain active until they’re canceled
So you have a bunch of Subscriptions that are about to renew that you want to cancel?

Yes, only this August, I have a 159 subcriptions that are about to renew automatically...
@silk lintel are you the developer here writing code?
@silk lintel checking in so that I can help you in real time here
No, I am not the developper...
My developer archived the price this afternoon, but he wasn't sure about it. He is used to develop online store, not annual subscriptions.
Okay so we can't really help you here I'm sorry. This Discord server is for developers asking questions about their code and our APIs.
My colleague explained you have real Subscriptions right now and they will all renew so you need to work with your developer to ensure those get marked to cancel or we will charge all those customers each new cycle
If you're still lost, I think you'll want to chat 1:1 with our support team instead who can help you. But really "archiving the Price" will do nothing to existing Subscriptions
As the developer, they should be able to read our docs carefully to mark all those Subscriptions to cancel such as calling The Update Subscription API and setting cancel_at_period_end: true.
But otherwise, please contact our support team for 1:1 support help: https://support.stripe.com/contact
Can my developer chat with you tomorrow in that case?
Sure but you'd get there a lot faster by contacting support and CC-ing your developer
but we're happy to help tomorrow if they have a concrete question. Really right now they need to read the docs
Thank you so much!!
