"Bypass pending balance" test card can be used for payment collection that tops up the balance for transfers and payout: https://stripe.com/docs/testing#available-balance
Yes thank you, I read that page. But where on my Stripe dashboard do I make that payment?
I'm looking here but I don't see anything like that. https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/developers

This should be done in your payment integration, the place where you collect the funds from customer
We're not going to collect funds from customers. We're going to direct deposit into our connected bank account and pay out from there. We're doing payouts only right now.
I'm looking here... is there any link or button here where I can enter a balance into a test account to pay out from?

This look promising, but says I need to be on a manual payout schedule? Can I just change to Manual and then add money here?
Hmm... nope. That is going to take real money from our bank account. I just want a test balance I can test transfers.
Oh nevermind. I got it -- I wasn't in test mode for some reason. The "Add to Balance" works in test mode and added money from a test bank account. I think I'm all good now.
Great to hear that it's working now!
