@heavy ruin the way this works is that we attempt to charge the card and give the address details to the bank and if the postal code is incorrect 2 things can happen
1/ The bank just uses this signal for fraud and decides to decline the payment entirely -> no hold
2/ The bank decides to let the payment through (a lot do) but they tell us "hey the postal code is wrong" and then if you have the Radar setting to block those in that case we decline/fail the Charge and asynchronously "refund" the authorization -> that can lead to a hold. It's usually cleared quickly by the bank but some might take a few days
