plan was the old API keyword, which is price now
i've also tried doing the same thing with price, but it did the same thing - instant charge

yep, i am an idiot.
i literally read all the docs about subscriptions and prorations like 5 times and check all the mentioned corner cases when its gonna be insta-charged, and checked these prices' billing periods 10 times, and still missed monthly/yearly difference...
