However, link doesn't use the saved payment methods, but rather global Payment Methods for a given email across Stripe.

Oh, I tried to use Stripe Link but i never recieved the SMS and when I used the mail solution I get redirected to the client portal

does Stripe Link by SMS works in Test mode ?
