I don't see any rate limiting issue when we create the account link: https://stripe.com/docs/api/account_links

This error occurs for the user after they are redirected to the onboarding flow in Stripe

Let me get a screenshot.

I have never seen this issue in test mode (I've created lots of accounts)

For additional context, we created ~400 connect accounts this morning and requested users (by email) to go through onboarding to set up their accounts. They did not all do it at the same time, of course, but more than what I did in test mode.

I can check through logs, but the onboarding was staggered and reports of this issue were up to a few hours apart.

If you can reproduce this on demand, can you open the dev tools in your browser, go to the network tab, reproduce the issue, then look at the details for the failed requests? I'm particularly interested in the URLs returning errors, which HTTPS status code is being returned, and the response headers.

Well, I haven't attempted to replicate this in a local dev env in test mode. And as mentioned, I never saw this issue myself.

It sounds like this occurs when there is a slightly higher density of users attempting to go through onboarding of their connect accounts.

How many retries does it take before they can move forward?

It sounds like in a lot of these cases, they fail to continue after several attempts. We suggest they attempt later. I haven't heard of those users having an issue the second time around, but the users would be onboarding at a much more staggered rate.

Either way, I'll try to get as many details as possible.
