No, we're trying to show Apple Pay in an iframe. Same setup as @oblique forge describes.

There is a recently merged PR in WebKit to make Apple Pay work in cross origin iframes: https://github.com/WebKit/WebKit/pull/11485

Which should be available in Safari Technology Preview but so far I've been unable to make it work via Stripe.

I was surprised to see it work in the Embedded Checkout beta, as I was under the impression that it was in fact a technical limitation within Safari, but the beta proves that that's not the case.
