Yes, it starts "The account (if any) the subscription’s payments will be attributed to for tax reporting, ..." which makes it sound like it is something to do with tax. The other descriptions for the same attribute on the same page do not mention tax at all and are clear that the attribute is for sending money to a connected account.

Ah I see what you mean, actually I think it has impact to Tax and Connect, because the amount to be transfered may have an impact on tax computing in some cases.
