Hello

Kyte car rental told me you built their API that matches driver's licenses with selfies for a background check.

They said I had to reach out to you.

On Sunday August 6, 2023 I booked a Kyte car rental through Priceline via confirmation xxxx

The Priceline website said to download the Kyte app. The Kyte app said to upload my driver's license and then it would take selfies for a background check.

There was an immediate denial and they would not give me a reason when pursuing a reason from their customer support.

I have no criminal history, a great credit score (795), savings, and a good-paying career.

This makes me feel discriminated against and fearful that some third-party app now has my driver's license.

My fiancé has a worse credit score, and a well-paying career. I had my fiancé, who is white/Caucasian upload his driver's license and he was instantly approved on the same day to book a car through the same company. I feel like this is either a clear case of racism or sexism.

I need someone to contact me regarding this before I file a lawsuit.

I can only help if you have a direct integration with Stripe, and I'd suggest you to reach out to the merchant on this matter. If the merchant thinks the problem is with Stripe, you can ask them to reach out to Stripe at https://support.stripe.com/contact/email
