Does that mean I'll be charged twice?
No, but you can't charge/capture more than the amount on hold.
Our trading instruments can be bought for more. Is there another way?
You can hold a larger amount and then capture a smaller one.
Or create a new PaymentIntent for a final amount.
OK, I also have another question.
Sure
If I make a payment at 11:59pm for a prepaid or debit card, and then cancel the payment about 10 minutes later (at 00:10 the next day), will I get an immediate refund? Or does it take 1-7 days depending on the card company or bank?
It depends on what the PaymentIntent status was at that time.
Do you mean, if you cancel the hold? Or the captured payment?
A captured payment.
(This is a slightly different question than the first one).
You won't be able to cancel it at all. You will need to refund it: https://stripe.com/docs/api/refunds/create
That's right, I'm asking about refunds.
I'd like to know how much time is required to actually get a refund.
The refund will arrive back to the account in a few days, depending on the bank.
Approximately how many days? 3 days, 7 days, or 14 days?
About 5-10: https://stripe.com/docs/refunds#tracing-refunds
Good, Thank you~
Happy to help!
