As far as I know there aren't any public features for forcing/requiring the selfie check with our hosted onboarding flow - you can check in with support (https://support.stripe.com/contact) and they may be able to see if there are any beta feature that would support this though
Is there a reason you want to force those checks? Usually when you send folks to the account onboarding we determine what checks should be required or not - if you want more control over that usually you'd use custom accounts (which you wouldn't use the oauth flow with)

well if i go here https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/connect/identity_additional_verifications i can set those checks, but it seems like it would require those checks for every onboarding request but we want to do it programatically. we want to enforce them because we've had some fraudulent activity and want stricter onboarding for some users
if possible could you list my possible options here? i think i need to dicsuss with my product team about this

Really your best option is to talk to support (https://support.stripe.com/contact) I believe we have a beta feature that does what you want, so you'd have to talk to them to see if you can get it added to your account
