Hello 👋
My understanding is that some of the information that becomes eventually required is based on the information that the connected account holder provides during their onboarding.
Hence there's no way to make it all required upfront. There are ways to handle accounts that have not completed onboarding using account links
What kind of connected accounts are you working with? Standard or express?
hi, im using express accounts
Gotcha. We explain how you can handle users that have not completed onboarding using account links here
https://stripe.com/docs/connect/express-accounts#handle-users-not-completed-onboarding
yeah thats exactly how it is done in the application right now
but was wondering if some "bugs" could be fixed in order to skip a failed full onboarding by a user
I believe the current process is how its intended for Standard/Express account users.
If you want granular control over the onboarding experience/features, you might need to switch to custom accounts and handle everything upfront
just an other information, im in Italy so the onboarding procedure is adapted to my country
it is just a little bug
but it costs something to final user
Definitely understand. I'd recommend filing with our support team as a feature request so that they can escalate the feedback to the right team
