When you create a price for a produtc you have 2 options : recurring and the other one (that I call non recurring). For that price, the user makes a payment but it seems he doesn't receive any confirmation for the payment by email or has no chance to get an invoice on his own through the customer portal (what he cans get when paying for a recurring).
