it's not a property of the card; the decision on if a payment needs 3D Secure is made by the bank/Stripe each time a payment is attempted.

Do you guys have any idea on the ratio of such situations (transaction with cards that will require 2nd 3d secure auth)?

To give you a bit of context, is for a shor term rental website.

The idea is obvious to collect card details, but charge them later on near the guest's ChekIn date.

This will also prevent refunds in case of booking cancellations
