Doing them sequentially should prevent this as far as I know. Can you send the ID of a request (req_123) where you got a lock timeout error like this?

Our logs for both requests seem to start within the same tenth of a second and we recorded req_2P0OnkWL8qsWmT as taking a bit longer than that to be processed on our side, so it does seem like a strong possibility that the server sent us both of these requests before we responded to the first
