If you're not creating the PaymentIntent directly by calling the API or setting payment_method_types explicitly, then you're fine to ignore the banner.

okay thanks. But when I look at the PaymentIntent object in the api requests, I can see that the "payment_method_types" is a list of payment method types, and not 'null'. Does that mean anything?
