According to the request, the payment_method is detached successfully from the customer.

Yes, it was still showing in the dashboard as attached to the customer in an "inactive mandate" state. but i refreshed a few minutes later and it was gone. The end result is what I expected after all, but I had never seen that interim state in the dashboard before.

I guess nothing to see here 🙂 thank you. was just confused by what the dashboard said.
