hello! have you tested with a customer that currently has an address set on it?

I understand that when a customer is already in stripe it should be able to prefill however I would like to prefill even for new customers as I take their address in my application directly therefore I need a way to inject in the address when I create the checkout session.

you can't prefill for a totally new customer unfortunately
