Thank you, I have done due diligence ahead of time and tested a few scenarios. Just wondering if I should expect that you follow the standard.
Yes it should follow the standard in this case. I tried a few examples like Australia and I see it use NSW for the state/region instead of the full name for example
so it's not exactly 2-letters code for that one
but it does map to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-2:AU for example
On the other hand I just tried India and it's the full province name there
Do you know what the standard would expect here? I know about this for country codes but less for regions/subdivisions
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-2:IN does expect 2 letter codes so I wonder if it's a bug
I'm going to flag to our product team because I can't really test every country but if India is wrong there are likely more.
