Web based integration is not supported on M2.

M2 only supports USB connection from Android device. Connecting to desktop USB won't work.

Understood, are you aware of any less expensive options that I could use for in person payments? I’m looking to switch from square which had a pretty inexpensive card reader setup LUL

Stripe support Tap to Pay payment. If you have an existing iOS and Android device, payment can be made directly on the mobile device and no additional reader is required. https://stripe.com/en-gb-us/terminal/tap-to-pay

Other readers like M2 and WisePad 3 can only be connected via bluetooth or USB on mobile devices. Only WisePOS E can be integrated with web based payment.
