Hi there 👋 jumping in as my teammate needs to step away soon. It's hard for us to say what the behavior of the next Invoice will be without understanding how the requests to update the Subscription were made, and what proration behavior they used. So I will need more context in order to provide more insight there.

That being said, you could revise your upgrade flow to use our pending updates feature, which allows you to make an update to a Subscription, but not have that change persist if the customer does not complete the payment associated with the upgrade:
