There's some few differences, for example, we don't send any emails in Test mode.

But we try to keep Test mode consistent with Live for the most part, so there's no surprises when you go to production.

Yes, I wanted to use Stripe for checking the integration with our product and looking if I can do it with a free account or not and later can upgrade to required plan

I am not familiar with pricing that much, it differes depending on the product you use, but for basic charges, it's a fixed fee + % of amount per each transaction
