I'm not sure this can be achivable with pricing table, I know this is possible when using Checkout Sessions directly:

I'm not seeing an option for that in dashboard for pricing table

Do you know if, with a trial period, the credit card will be required?

Yes in that when using pricing table, it will be required.

You can do a quick test in your test mode.
