@leaden juniper usually the best way to set this up is instead to switch your connected account to manual Payouts. That way they build a balance over time and after the event you can pay out the funds to them. See https://stripe.com/docs/connect/manual-payouts

setting payouts to manual prevents the user from going into their express account and initiating payout? it has to be programmatically done by us?
