Since you linked to the docs about the M2 reader, I'm assuming that's the one you're using, but please let me know if that is a bad assumption. That reader only supports on-receipt tips due to it not having a screen, so is this the guide that you're trying to follow?

Did you try using the over-capture approach shown in that document? Are you encountering an error when testing that flow?

It's not a flag. That document doesn't explain how to handle tips. Take a read through the document I linked, it explains how to collect tips and provides sample code for doing so.
