Mm, metadata's should be included in the export:
https://stripe.com/docs/reports/payout-reconciliation#downloading-data:~:text=You can include custom metadata associated with those transactions to speed up the reconciliation process.
Can you share a PaymentIntent Id that has metadata ?
sure pi_3NWbIjDBMS6Xdvmb0seYJOdz
thanks for sharing, now how are you exporting these data ?
You are using the report API that I referenced to, right ?
Balances > Payouts > select latest payout from grid > Pressing 'Export' on Transactions grid
using the dashboard rather than the API directly
Ah I though you are using the report API.
That export doesn't include metadatas.
Follow the link I shared above using APIs, in order to have more completed/Advanced reports.
👋 taking over for my colleague. Let me know if there's any follow-up Qs I can answer!
Hi, your colleague says that export doesn't include metadata
but it actually does appear to include some
which is why I was questioning it, the columns in the CSV are there
and some rows have data
it's just went I add metadata to some of the transactions it doesn't pull through when I re-export
Hey, we don't know much about reports here. It's best to ask Stripe Support: https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true
