We don't recommend using Direct Charges with Express accounts. Is there a specific reason you need to use Express account here?

The main reason was not to have the need to create entities around the world

Stripe Tax with connect is supported

However, I don't know if you can use it with Direct Charges + express account as express accounts don't get access to typical stripe dashboard so there's no way for them to onboard to Stripe Tax

Could you please clarify what does it precisely mean to have entities across regions? We are still deciding whether to go with the Direct charges flow or Destination flow

Having entities across region meaning separate stripe accounts for separate regions such as one for AMER, one for EMEA etc

So if I would like to allow all users to use my platform, which regions do I have to support?
I assume EU, US? Is there anything else or this covers it all? Not sure about maybe Japan, New Zealand, Australia etc?

Hmm that I am not sure about exactly as our team on discord don't know a ton about compliance and regulations when it comes to connect and fund flows.
I'd recommend talking to our support team about this as they are the experts in those areas and can provide accurate answers
