Ok thanks. Is there a way I can archive or delete customers that are no longer in use to avoid these fees?

You should be able to detach the PaymentMethods on those customers and delete them via the API

Do you think this is the best way to do it for like 8 years of customer data? Or do you have any better suggestions?

No better alternatives 😦
I'd strongly recommend talking to our support team as they'd have better context on disabling CAU and can help provide better recommendations

Thank you Hanzo. We have already reached out to support but haven't heard back from them yet. So exploring other options and gathering info. Will wait for support to get back.
