Let me get this straight. You want to fund a Connect Accounts normal Stripe balance from their Issuing balance or the Issuing Balance of the Platform?

sort of, the CA issuing balance is already funded. We want to transfer that amount to the platform normal stripe balance.

the problem is the transfer api can only transfer from the CA normal stripe balance not the issuing balance

Yeah I think you would first need to transfer the funds from the Issuing balance to the Stripe balance within the CA

how do you do that. don't see anything to that effect in api or dashboard

I suspect you might need to look into the Balance Transfers private beta program. Currenlty there isn't a good mechanism for this publicly available

does that require activating the feature at each connected account or is this a platform beta feature

and does it work both ways, this seems to be going from stripe balance to issuing balance not the other way around
