Depends on the browser

#

browsers may anonymize the shipping address

#

Also depends on the country

#

The reason is to maintain privacy

I understand that - but I don't know why it's happening or not. I myself see that on both Safari and Chrome data is anonymized. But we have many customers and their data is not anonymized.

I don't see what's exactly triggering that. Are there certain settings in browser?

#

We'd like to have both scenarios covered in our QA process but we can't determine how to reproduce that.

Yeah it's determined by the browser

#

I don't think it's configurable though

#

We're intnetionally vague in those docs because we don't control it

#

The browser does

Okay, thanks. Do you maybe know where to look for info which browsers anonymize data and which not?

I do not unfortunately. You could try googling around the behavior for different popular browsers, but I'm not sure

Okay, thanks for confirming how it works 🙂
