They are no difference and both are charges. Are you facing any issue?

no issue particularly just wanted to understand if we had to take care of something with each type of charge. Like with ch_** I see that we get card details but now we are also taking affirm payments and with that we get py_** without any card detail. So except the card details, is there anything else we have difference in?

In general, ch_ is for card payment whereas py_ is for non-card payment

#

If the charge ID isn't made from card, there won't be card details
