@desert pilot Hello! I'm sorry can you give me a bit more context on your ask? What's the issue exactly? Is it that the CustomerPortal doesn't ask for the billing details today?

hey @white phoenix , the customer portal has a section to fill the billing details, but the right now, the customer can go and update the subscription without filling the billing address. But upon fullfiling the payment , they realise for our case, they have to fill billing address.

Gotcha, so looks like you can't really use the CustomerPortal in that case unfortunately. We likely don't handle that requirement for India properly. I'd recommend flagging as a feature request to our support team: https://support.stripe.com/contact

Can i while getting their Payment method, can i ask them to input the biliing address as mandatory option

Same query for Checkout Session , can i force to user to add billing address and then move to payment or force them to add billing address during payment

As per Indian regulations, export transactions require a customer name and address. More info here: https://stripe.com/docs/india-exports

This is the error that customer gets . Is there a way i can show this info on customer portal as a warning / information .. Our flow perfectly works with customer portal

Yeah as noted above you can't really specify this on Customer Portal today.

We recommend reporting a feature request to our Support team here since we understand the use-case but just not really possible right now with Customer Portal.

The best you could do is indicate to the customer that they need to input this info before you redirect to Customer Portal
