Can you try updating the payment method to this test card instead and see if you can trigger the behaviour you want?
https://stripe.com/docs/testing#:~:text=Expired card decline

Sometimes, issuers (depending on many factors) still might successfully process a charge even though the payment method has expired.

Hi Hanzo, by trying to attach that card I get the following error:

(node:49946) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: Error: Your card has expired.

It would only work if i use decline after attaching, but the simulation won't be as accurate

We don't have a test card for this sepcific usecase yet 😦
