Are you trying to test a payment failing after the card has been attached?

yes exactly but when I try to link the card to a customer via the stripe dashboard it gives me the card error on the dashboard and I can't add it

Ah you'd need to link the card to the customer prior to creating the payment.
Try 4000008260003178 card

I want to ask you just the last thing when I call stripe.paymentIntents.retrieve to get how did a payment go if I have any error I have it inside status?
