Currently there's no way to only allow payment methods updates for specific payment method types - the set of supported paymetn methods for the customer portal is controlled by your general payment methods settings (https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods)

the client this project is for only allows for bank account transactions. when they open up the customer billing portal, there is a card option for additional payment methods, which we dont want
