Can you clarify which email you're sending? Are you using the one you can enable through the dashboard with the "Send emails to customers to update failed card payment methods" setting?

So the only option you'd have for a customer to initate the repayment themselves would be to direct them to the customer portal (https://stripe.com/docs/customer-management) where they can trigger repayment for the invoices themselves
