Hi 👋 it's currently not possible to pass metadata to the Transfer that is created by a Destination Charges flow when using Checkout Sessions, and the approach you describe of updating the Transfer once it's been created is what I would recommend.

I'll capture you feedback that you'd like to be able to directly provide metadata for Transfer objects in this fashion, for our teams to review.
