When logged in to sripe, the webview tab shows documentation, however, when logged out, it says "Collecting accounts in an app’s WebView requires special care to handle OAuth redirects. You can request access to use additional parameters in the API that enable use within WebViews."
I requested access for this, but I have no idea what that access gave me, other than the documentation. Either way, it doesn't seem possible to follow the documentation successfully

Yeah this is a beta feature, which we don't usually help out with in this channel
I'd recommend reaching out to the people who gave you access and asking them for clarification

ands if so, is there a spexcific beta api we need to be using?
support said we were in, but only change ive seen is the docs being available
i hear from support about once a day and its been three weeks now with no progress

If those docs are visible to you then it should be enabled yes -- we're not really able to discuss betas much here

Intersting. Are you able to tell me if there is anything more we need to do on our end? Is it a specific api or is it just a flag in the existing api? I dont need to know the spcifics. I just need to know what to ask support for

Can you share an example request ID I can look at? IIRC this requires a different parameter to be added that the docs should specify
