Gotcha. No, as far as I know this would only work with Standard accounts.

Ah! OK. The issue we are running into is that the Fee column of the tranaction export via the dashboard combines the Stripe Fee and Application fee and does not provide enough info to be able to deduce the separate fees. Looking to find a way to get that in Xero. Can we somehow import the Express transactions with these fields separated using the host Standard account?

I know we can use the API to download them separately but it adds a few more steps including two manual imports. Looking to automate....

Typically Express accounts don't have payments on them, the payments are on the platform account and a portion is transferred to the Express accounts.

Yes, in control of the platform. Not looking for payments though, just the Stripe Fee and Application fee not combined into one amount. Trying to get those in a report separately either from the Express account or the Standard account. Thus we were going to try to import by connecting to Express..

If you're using Express accounts you should be using destination charges, but it's technically possible to use direct charges. Determining the charge type you're using is the first step to figuring out how to do what you want to do.

Got it. What we need to do is find a way to export a report that does not have the Stripe Fee and applicaiton fee combined. As I mentioned, our API is set up to get this info but the number of steps to get that info from out DB into a CSV and then manually import is pretty convoluted. Are there any reports we can download from the Dashboard or our Standard account that would include the Connect(ed) Express account transactions including Stripe Fee and Application fee separeated out nd not combined into one column?

the only other option that I can think of would be to export your application fees separately (https://dashboard.stripe.com/connect/application_fees) - but that report would be missing a lot of details about the transaction since it's just exporting the application fees

OK. So to be 100% clear, there is no way to get a report that parses out the Stripe Fee and the Application Fee into separate fields? As you can imagine, this is problematic as it obfuscated the actual Stripe fees by combining with the platform commission.

That's correct - there's no report that would separate the application fee and stripe fee into separate columns/fields. The only way to get this right now is through the API
