If their existing account is a standard stripe account they can connect to you as long as they're not already controlled by a single platform. This would have to be done via oauth: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/oauth-standard-accounts

For some reason, when my test user is force to create a new account, on my Connected platform I can see the name they`ve selected, but from their site it just shows Test account name instead the one the put in to create that account.

This might be a bug from the user perspective, not quite sure to tell
