How did you build the app? Is it a native app, or did you use a framework of some kind?

I have never encountered that error, nor can I find any references to it anywhere. Can you confirm you followed all the steps listed here? https://stripe.com/docs/google-pay?platform=android

That's an optional step, so that should be fine.

I can confirm that error message is not coming from us.

It seems like it's probably coming from Google, but I can't figure out why or what it means.

The problem looks more related to google yes, I've sent a message to Google support, let's hope the will answer soon.
