sure, so we will be using customer portal to let customer update their payment method. I wanted to know in case of ACH how would they verify their account because micro deposits would take 2-3 days
Customer Portal supports instant verification via Financial Connections if I remember correctly

in test mode when I add the success bank through customer portal it adds the ACH method instantly. but for same account when add it from customer section on dashboard verification is required.
also when I asked the same question before in the above thread, they answered verification might be required
Yeah when you add from Dashboard you can't use Instant Verification because that requires authentication with your bank. If you are entering details for someone else you can't perform this authentication.
But with Customer Portal we do get that authentication from the customer to verify instantly

can you check this thread and please confirm that no verification is required in customer portal case and we can instantly make the ACH payment method as default for that customer/ subscription

Okay @steep quartz I confirmed that only Instant Verification is supported here so yes, if the customer updates their PaymentMethod to ACH it will be ready immediately.
